First/Last-Skull Kid

"I'm not ready for this yet / all this panic running circles in my head."

Skull Kid is an indie emo-rock band from Pittsburgh who have a few singles and an EP under their belt over at their BandCamp page. Catch them tomorrow night (3/21) at Mr. Roboto Project. I want to thank Isaiah Ross (Bass/Vocals) for taking the time to participate in this edition of First/Last.

The first album you ever bought?
“College Dropout”, Kanye West.

Your last album bought?
“Comedown Machine”, The Strokes.

Favorite album of all time?
Currently the “Them Crooked Vultures” self-titled (could honestly change at any time).

Least favorite/most disappointing album?
Weezer's “Raditude” (Excluding ‘If You're Wondering If I Want You To (I Want You To)’).

First concert attended?
Weezer.

Last concert?
Fake Grave.

Favorite concert ever?
Can't decide, plenty of great ones.

Least favorite concert?
Most likely one of my own in which something didn't go as planned.

Favorite thoughts, experiences about Pittsburgh?
My favorite part of Pittsburgh would have to be the people. The sheer amount of talent in Pittsburgh that no one has any idea about is uncanny. Some of my favorite artists are people that I see on a decently regular basis and that's something that I think is pretty incredible.

Thanks, Isaiah. I second your opinion on the wealth of talent we have here in Pittsburgh. It really is a great time to be a Pittsburgh music fan.
